Dietician requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience
- Must have a Bachelor`s Degree, Master`s Degree Preferred
- Valid IA License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Plans, develops, and provides high quality, effective wellness nutritional services, including: lectures, demonstrations, lunch and learns, and media presentations. Designs and implements program/service evaluation tools. Reviews program evaluations and redesigns services based on results.
- Provides wellness counseling on health risk assessment and biometric screenings results. Provides patient instructions on appropriate practices to follow.
- Investigates and assists in the implementation of nutritional wellness best practices.
- Performs biometric screenings including: height, weight, waist/hip measurements, BMI, body composition, blood pressure and heel bone densitometry. Performs point-of-care testing including glucose and cholesterol screenings.
- Serves as a role model for wellness by participating in employee wellness program activities and demonstrating positive health behaviors.
- Provides wellness coaching, as trained.
- Provides nutritional counseling to community members, employees, as well as contractual partners, on an as needed basis.
- Performs other job duties, as assigned
